How to Look Thinner in Photos

Photos always carry our good memories. When we are in a happy occasion, in a lovely vacation or even at home doing anything funny we love to keep the moment forever, so we preserve it by taking the shot.

We like to look at our photos and see ourselves in a good condition, we won’t be happy to look and see ourselves fat, looking fatigue or wearing rags. We like to see ourselves in photos the way the celebrities look on the red carpet. Do you think that all these celebrities are really skinny? They are normal people with normal bodies just like you and me.

The secret is in the pose. So, here are some advices that will help you to look thinner in the photos and feel like a movie star:

1) Stand at a slight angle. Because it is knows that the most flattering position is ‘croise’. It gives you the appearance of having a smaller waistline.

2) Leave some space between your arms and body. By leaving a gap between your arms and your body this removes the appearance of bulk.  This is a little bit  tricky because raising the arms off the body can sometimes make you look awkward! Instead try to put your hands on your hips for a little more natural looking pose.

3) Stand up straight. Remind yourself always to stand up and push your shoulders back. It will highly improve your results.

4) Pull head forward slightly. This will help you to minimize any appearance of a double chin.

5) Use flashes in sunlight. Flashes are very good because they help in overriding the shadows that the overhead sunlight might cast on your face, making for pronounced under-eye and chin shadows.

And finally, just forget about looking skinny and try to relax. Experts say that the best thing a subject can do to look good in photographs is to be relaxed and happy.
